Small and intimate gatherings are the
best experiences more times than many people think. You don’t always have to
have the grandest wedding with hundreds of people. Annette and Terry were truly
blessed to celebrate their union with the people that love them the most. With
about 50 guest in attendance, memories were created that will always be
cherished.
This intimate wedding took place at
the long house, in Stokesdale NC. On the outer perimeter of the property is an
open field where the ceremony area can be setup in various ways. Annette and
Terry got married under a tree branch draped with a beautiful flower garland.
The serenity of the pond area and the warm summer shade created a peaceful
haven for the couple and their family as they dealt with obstacle leading up to
their day. They finally made it to the altar and the only thing that matter was
the reason for this special day.
Of course, after dinner was the after
party! On to the dance floor. It was so fun to dance with the family to
family-friendly music. We enjoyed line dancing and popular music. However, the
highlight of the night and probably the most emotional, were the speeches from
the family to the newlyweds. Intimate gatherings can call for heartfelt
moments.
